Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers on the grid…and those who are not, especially to the root, my heart, and all the many branches on my family tree—way too numerous to mention.
May this day set aside to serve to remind you that you are special in more ways than one, and help you understand the responsibility that comes with your strength; ponder the effects of your inhibitions; know the boundaries of your limitations; challenge your weaknesses; visualize how willful disobedience will influence your thinking, impede your judgment, and affect your decisions to set in rapid motion a series of consequences that can adversely affect those whom you hold dear, change the nature of your circumstances and alter the course of your purposeful and promise-filled life.
Remember also, “… 11that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 12For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. (Ecclesiastes 9:11 & 12-KJV)
