Walk Circumspect Among Men
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (1 Peter 4:12 & 13)
Walk circumspect among men. Look not to the left on to the right, but to the wisdom of God’s word.
The heart is a lonely hunter it only lets love in. Either you let love lose, or you let love win. Love is not a perfected word; it harbors hate as well. So do not be deceived to think that love always means well – There is the love of God and the love of the devil, the love of man, and the love of self.
The devil and one-third of the angels were cast out of heaven because of love of self. Love is the force that binds the heart of kindred mindset. One in mind becomes one in heart, and one in the spirit.
Unless you have the love of God, you cannot receive the mind of God – without the mind, you will not get the heart of God. Without the heart of God, you cannot receive the spirit of God.
Love is a deceitful word – that serves two masters. Love can build up, and it can destroy. Love can both be a friend and a foe – Therefore, “See that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” (Ephesians 5:15-21) And think it not strange the things that have befallen you.
