Keep Pushing Ahead
God’s ordained Steps of Faith are almost always followed by opposition. (Scripture of Reference: The Book of Nehemiah)
When you are working for God and you keep finding opposition in everything you do; that is not the time to become discouraged. It’s the time to become determined.
The first attacks are with words, and they attach our works and our work-and sometimes it doesn’t happen when things are going bad…and you would have this quiet moment where the thoughts get up into your head that I don’t want to do this anymore.
Attack – Response:
- Criticism/ridicule – Pray, persevere
- Discouragement, loss of strength, fatigue – Pray, persevere
Pray, pray boldly
Pray with power
Pray with passion
And don’t just pray…keep pushing ahead.
