For I am Persuaded

 

For I am persuaded that no devil in hell

Nor spirits, principalities, or circumstances

Can keep us from seeing the glory of God

Or his love which is in Christ Jesus

 

We will mount up over every obstacle

We will soar over every mountain

Divided we once fell, united we now stand

And by the grace of God we shall prevail

 

Giving praise to a living God, as we testify

Never once doubting the power of his word

In Him we will find strength to rise again

And overcome this perilous plight

 

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad

We have been tempted, tested, and tried

Yet we are a tower of strength for the Lord

Providing an oasis of hope for the World

 

When the times of tide are changing

And we were being sifted like sand

We saw no need to run away and hide

But reached for God’s unchanging hand

 

When walls crumbled, the chains broke free

Now every voice can testify to the wonder

Of finding comfort in the midst of the storm

For I am persuaded, that “This too shall pass”
