Teach us thy ways, O Lord

Lord, we beseech thy tender mercies

Lord, we beseech thy tender mercies, we call upon your heavenly name, and we turn to you in awe, even in the midst of solemn grief and ask that you incline your ears unto our prayers O Lord – and bestow upon us your tender mercies. Teach us thy ways, O Lord, that we continue to walk in the wisdom of your grace, and remind us, as a nation, as a people, to lean not unto our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge you; and you will direct our paths.

Lord, we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all the nations of this earth, and may the peace of God which transcends all understanding guard our hearts and minds – in Christ Jesus, and may your saving grace continue to rest, remain and abide with us now and forever and the light of your word penetrate to our innermost to bring us into a solemn rest that we might say forever and always that it is well with me, and it is well with my soul…in the matchless and most precious name of Jesus, I pray.  Amen.  (09/13/01)
