Willful Wanderer

Point to Ponder: The Wilful Wanderer
There are a whole lot of people who are living in remorse because of prodigality, because of their waste, because of their want, because of a lustful relationship. There is no profit in loss, no success in failure. Come what may, whatever you leave this world with when the last bell tolls is all that you will have gained from the life that you have lived. You might have a better casket, a more superfluous ceremony, or a little more people grieving your passing, but be not fooled or deceived, their tears are not for you – their tears are for the void that you have left in their life that they are at a loss to figure out how to fill.
Be not deceived and seek to satisfy your lust by letting go of what you have inherited to go after it because it only appears that way because of your presumed barrenness of the place where you’re looking at it from. And if indeed it is more luscious, rest assured that the water bill is a lot higher there and the tender of the land is a whole lot more exhausted. Either that, or there is a whole other kind of bull manure being spread over there – and the minute you step in it, you’ll fall so deep that you’re going to need nothing short of a bulldozer to get you out.
