Appreciate Life

God is a way maker, not a tattletale bearer. He is a very present help in a time of trouble … and even in the midst of ill repute, I will join my voice with fellow sojourners of the Christian faith in prayer and praise to sound forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat and create an echo of timeless worship that will break the chains of tyranny off the hearts and minds of those who have fallen prey to lies and deception and immobilized by the poison serum of the serpent’s tongue and heal the wounds left by his bite, for we know that God alone is able to turn their dusk into dawn, darkness into light, give them beauty for their ashes and the oil of joy for the spirit of mourning, and we will rejoice in the joy of our salvation, because we know that he has bottled up our tears in heaven, and in due season he will pour them out like dew drops in the morning sun and shower us with blessings that yield far more than our capacity to contain.  He will turn asunder the reapers and the gleaners to bring the tally from the killing fields of life into the weighing station of godliness, and give us the full recompense of a just reward, because his ears are not deaf that he cannot hear, his eyes are not blind that he cannot see, and his hands have not been shortened that they cannot save.  Tarry with me, yet a little while, for the latter rain has fallen and harvest time has come, we must toil now, while it is yet day, for the darkness cometh during which time no man can work.  Labor with confidence that none will be lost.
