Point to Ponder: In Season and Out of Season – Be steadfast, imovable, always abounding in the things that are of God.
In season and out of season, I tell people who are willing to listen…”I already did it man’s way, my way…and failed miserably. Now, I’ve committed myself to doing it God’s way, and if I fail, if I succeed, at least I lived as I believe, and for that, I will make no apologies. If you think my life is right or wrong, it’s not your vote that counts, cause you aint God…
I know we all like to tell people how to live their lives — according to our belief and understanding—but only God knows the truth about what they should and shouldn’t do with their life and it’s their choice about whose report they want to believe. That’s why I’m the author of Perspectives, because when I questioned God about the going ons in my life…way back in 1998…that’s the question he asked me…and today, almost twenty years later…I can raise my right hand and testify that I believe God…I believe God and take him at his word, because like David said, I would have fainted, had I not lived to see the glory of God in the land of the living…
So, like me, you have a choice…and it’s yours alone, and if God is giving you a vision that nobody else could see that doesn’t make it any less promising because if God gave it to you he doesn’t have to give it to anybody else..because the head don’t have to give the feet a reason to move … just the signal; so if you really believe that God is moving you toward that vision, just wave the signal back heaven that by his grace you will…just be certain that you are somewhat zealous in your bid and your willingness to run with endurance the race that is set before you, because the word said that a man who puts his hand to the plow and drawback is not fit for the kingdom, so my question remains, if God gave you the vision, why do you keep talking about it in the past tense rather than the future tense? Did God draw back his hand from the plow, or did you?”
