Face Your Giant

10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11For through wisdom your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.… (Proverbs 9:10 & 11)

In our human capacity, we will experience doubts, and conceptualize fear…that is normal, and at times quite beneficial, but in your spirit, you should “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6, NASB) … Therefore, “be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 2:1, NASB).

Therefore: Heed the the words of wisdom, according to the full measure of his word

(Proverbs 3:5-10, NASB)

Do not let kindness and truth leave you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart

So you will find favor and good repute
In the sight of God and man

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And do not lean on your own understanding

In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

It will be healing to your body,
And refreshment to your bones

Honor the LORD from your wealth,
And from the first of all your produce

So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

    • Actually, I do not have a spam problem, even though WordPress do log some response as such. If you’re so concerned, try SiteLock to increase your level of security, but it does come with a price.

    • Wow! I’m totally impressed. Never would have imagined that my block was making waves on Facebook too. Give them my best regards, and than you for letting me know, and for book marking my page and tweeting it to all your followers. That says quite a lot on short order. The design adds to the aura…and I think it works well with the subject matter, and so have all the people who’ve been complementing me on it.

    • I totally agree…can’t do too much TV … in fact, I can’t do too much talking, period, that’s why I write, because writing has a zen all it’s own. We don’t have to worry about voice tone or pitch…the word just resonates what it was meant to convey without the added distraction of voice.

  13. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.

    I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her
    ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched
    her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to
    tell someone!

  14. I am really enjoying the theme/design of your weblog.
    Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues?
    A handful of my blog readers have complained about my blog not
    working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox.
    Do you have any ideas to help fix this problem?

    • Thank you for your kind sentiment. As for the compatibility issues, I’ve only gotten two complaints about the text running off the page, on was using Apple Safari, the other person didn’t say what browser they were using.
