Cancer, like un-forgiveness, is an aggressive adversary that eats away at a person’s core being and is rarely seen unless you examine the person closely…and even then it can be very easily missed, because it hides so well and mimics so many other less formidable infiltrates.
The poison flows freely, slowly, weaving an intricate pattern of destruction and decay through every fiber of your being. Deliberate in its intent, it hovers just beneath the surface of the skin until in a consumable rage it rushes forth live a wild fire, desecrating every far reaching place that it touches. Then, and only then, can it be easily recognized and the ghastly effects of its rampage be surveyed for a way to contain and obliterate it.
By now, it might appear as an impregnable mass of confusion-with no beginning and no end being clearly defined. Do not be deceived—every life form begins with a seed—a seed that is fertilized and nurtured in a favorable environment conducive to growth and development, and cancer is no exception. Whatever the cause or the effect, it will only grow in a favorable environment; when the surrounding area is no longer conducive to the natural state of its existence, death is inevitable.
In seismic precision, the Holy Spirit wages war on the inhibitors of the spirit of God operating within us, as it strives to restore normalcy by rejecting any emotion that does align with God’s truth, which is conducive to its progressiveness and abiding nature. It attaches itself to anything that nourishes the soul. Ominously, death also lingers near—licking its lying lips in anticipation of a soul it ravenously craves. It is the midnight hour, and miracles happen at midnight.
The battle is not yet over, but now is the moment of truth. Will you continue to struggle for victory, or fly the flag of defeat? Will you surrender to the pain of death and condemnation, or hold on in faith and claim the resurrection power of the risen Christ as your inherited portion?

Please do not disregard this one. I felt that it was too good not to pass on to just one person, so in the spirit of peace, love, and unity, I’m passing it on to us, as a brief testimony of how God brought me through dealing with the caustic nature of cancer as it ran rampant through many roots, branches, and leaves on my family tree, and helped me to be a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, the voice of reason, a message in due season to myself, my siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers, and business acquaintances whose lives were touched in one way or another by this masquerade marauder of life.
This message may not be relevant to you at this point in time if you haven’t been there, but please do pass it on as freely as your heart desires, because I am certain that it would be a blessing to someone in your Circle of Love.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6).
